EN 10088-4 Certification
EN 10088-4 Certification is a services that provide by ATC International UK. EN 10088-4 Standard is a harmonized European standard that outlines the technical delivery conditions for corrosion-resistant steel strips/sheets and plates used for construction purposes. It is an important norm in Europe regarding the mechanical properties and quality standards of stainless steels. In addition to the general technical delivery conditions specified in EN 10021, it sets the technical delivery conditions for standard and special grades of hot or cold-rolled sheet/plate and strip for construction-purpose corrosion-resistant stainless steels. It serves as a critical guide to ensure the durability and safety of the steels.
EN 10088 consists of the following sections under the general title “Stainless Steels”:
- Part 1: List of stainless steels (including a table of European Standards, in which these stainless steels are further specified, see Annex D);
- Part 2: Technical delivery conditions for sheet/plate and strip of corrosion resisting steels for general purposes;
- Part 3: Technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products, bars, rods, wire, sections and bright products of corrosion resisting steels for general purposes;
- Part 4: Technical delivery conditions for sheet/plate and strip of corrosion resisting steels for construction purposes;
- Part 5: Technical delivery conditions for bars, rods, wire, sections and bright products of corrosion resisting steels for construction purposes.
Classification of Steels According to Their Structure
The steels included in this European Standard are classified as follows according to their structure:- a) Ferritic steels;
- b) Martensitic steels;
- c) Precipitation hardening steels;
- d) Austenitic steels;
- e) Austenitic-ferritic steels.
FPC Requirements for All Manufacturers
The manufacturer-specific FPCS system requirements ensure the implementation of specific quality control measures and procedures during the steel product production process. These requirements are necessary to guarantee the compliance of steel products with the standards.- Personnel
- Equipment
- Raw Material
- Process Control
- Traceability and Marking
- Non-Conforming Product
- Corrective Action
- Transportation, Storage and Packaging
- a) identification of the steel product tested;
- b) the date of sampling and testing;
- c) the test methods performed;
- d) the test results.
